I'm really excited to share my first face sculpt in air-dry clay. Some of the smaller bits like the wings of the nose and the tip were challenging due to it drying before the clean-up stage. However, I'm very happy with how this first one turned out.

Putting all my traditional sculpts in one place. It's been quite an experience learning how to sculpt traditionally. There's something really appealing about the free surface texture you get from the clay itself and also the joy of learning a new medium.

Here is this week's sculpt and a time-lapse of my process with air-dry clay. I hope you find it useful. I'm planning to make a video with a voiceover sometime soon. For now, I want to focus more on just getting the hang of using clay.

I've been wanting to make this character ever since I saw it in the announcement cinematic. Such a cool design!
My goal was to make a real-time model that's close to Blur's cinematic version. Also *cough I'm available for work Blizzard *cough cough #manifesting

Hoping to do this weekly. Trying to get the hang of air dry clay since it's a bit tricky to control.

Adding a bit of color to this week's painting. A lot to figure out still.

Photo study of Jarred Harris. Doing this weekly to get better at painting. Does anyone know how I can replicate the tiling method in photoshop? Can't seem to get the brush to work right?

I've always loved Carlos Huante's work. Such amazing and well-thought-out designs. If only I had a fraction of his power. A study of one of his concepts. Sculpting hands are always a good challenge.
