Some days you crash Excel, and some days Excel decides that your spreadsheet is a 17th century artifact.

Hyperfocus go brrr
(Translation: made a lot of lace today. Finished a few more bobbins for use. Did not really finish much else that I had intended to do, but having leave is nice.)

Are you allowed to call it out if someone sends you an email that you think was mostly written by AI?

And yes, I am thinking of that one tweet while writing this.

I don't generally show lace patterns before I begin them at all but I've just finished pricking this one and feel like obligating myself to finish it by creating accountability.
I am not sure yet how well it'll work, but we're going to find out together.

Continuing in my side quest to collect coins with King Charles on them when they come across my path and this week offered up 20c coins as the newest denomination to get an update.
(I'm waiting to find a 10c and a 50c now.)

Should have gone to bed an hour ago, but needle felting made the hyperfocus go brrr and we're now here.

It's nice to look up something, thinking "there's gotta be a button for this" and to find out immediately that there is a button for that thing.

If I owned gumboots, I feel like today would be the day to wear them to work.
As it stands, I'm thankful that the boot wizards were able to fix my boots yesterday.

After starting it in early December, we're finally here and this project is finished ~
Now if only I hadn't managed to drop and break my thread box and run over a spool with my car on the same afternoon.
Wild swings.

I will persist in using PowerPoint for purposes other than intended by PowerPoint. It's been 20 years, why stop now?
This evening's entry: casting my screen in Discord and using it so our D&D crew could have a battle map for the boss fight.

Some amount, but sometimes it feels like the quality drops when I think too much about it. Sometimes it just happens (Paint), sometimes I'll flip-flop between two options for a while (Beardsley/Mr. Dribbles)

Three of the four things I had kinda wanted for today happened. Which is not bad given the context.
Visited the 'Rif, and it delivered.

So I finished Dune on audio on the weekend and it's been an interesting experience given that I read the majority of The Wheel of Time in high school.

Progress from the end of last night. Will I finish Dune on audio before I finish the piece? We'll find out. There's about 25cm2 left to go.

I sometimes forget that some of my coworkers were born in years that start with a 2.
Fortunately, they're up for banter and are reasonably good sports about it.

Progress on this lace collar - photos are a week apart. I think I've dumped maybe 6 or 7 hrs into it over yesterday and today (which is about all of the work done in that time).
It's hard to perceive progress in time-intensive projects, but it's there.
