I like Pokemon art and playing the games casually
I guess it depends on how many more players are added, I am thinking like 20-30 players on maps with various terrain and buildings. If this is their version of a "battle royal" style game it would be interesting to see how far they actually go with it.

Yeah same, theres no way to distribute pokemon like that without making it impossible for people to obtain. Its fun in theory but the reality is just most people not obtaining it. trying to get shiny Miraidon/Koriadon is a recent example.

I feel like this could be testing for a similar style game but with a much bigger battle arena and more players.

They will likely just get a stat change or ability, I don't think they will bother trying to replicate this effect outside of this battle system.

Ok, well, which cards did you feel missed the mark on symbology? What does that even mean if these cards are using the symbology of their real world counterparts?

I really love the idea of different games interacting with each other but sadly I think those days are mostly over

Death sticks out to me as one you might consider for revision since the symbology of the card can also represent change, transformation, re-birth etc.

True, especially for games you really enjoy that have nice artwork on the casing but that also comes with its own downside of requiring physical storage space especially if you buy a lot of games.

The only reasons I can think of for someone wanting the physical game is if they plan to resell it/share it or if they don't have enough space on their system. These are good reasons but its just way better generally for games to be digital atp.

1. Physical games can't always hold the full data for a game.
(updates, or the game being too big)
2. The packaging creates a lot of waste.
3. Modern games don't have a booklet explaining the game or containing additional art.
4. Physical game licenses can still be revoked.
