New (to me) CDs arrived! 8 dream theater CDs i didn't have for £30 was too good to pass up 😄
All of my Dream Theater CDs layed out in two groups, the top 8 just arrived, the bottom six I already had. I'll list their names in the next two pictures alt text The new arrivals CDs. They are from left to right top then bottom: Awake, When Dream and Day Unite, Falling into Infinity, a Change of Seasons, Black Clouds & Silver Linings, Distance over Time, a View from the Top of the World, The Astonishing. The discs I already had. They are from left to right top then bottom: Systematic Chaos, Images and Words, Train of Thought, Metropolis PT 2: Scenes from a Memory, Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence, Octavarium

Look what arrived for me today from Japan! One of the few games I wanted for a long time but didn't think I'd be able to afford to import, but someone from Japan was selling on eBay uk 😄
The picture shows the front of the box of the Japanese original xbox game "metal wolf chaos". It says "only on xbox", has the xbox live logo, has the title of the game as well as the age rating "cero 15" and the developer "from software". The cover picture is a war mech with a big gun in its hands, and a lot of extra guns on its backpack. The background is an American flag at the top, and explosions at the bottom. The inside of the game box. The disc and manual are included and in mint condition, but also all the other marketing fliers, including the xbox live trial code which hasn't been scratched off. There is a leaflet that looks like its from the store it came from offering a points code if redeemed before 2005.

My chest in a very sheer grey purple dress. You can very clearly see the exact shape and even some of the shading of my breasts and nipples. Possibly more so than if I were topless

New videogame pickups today. They were £5 or £6 each, so they only have to be half decent to be worth a go 😄

I just bought a charger for my minidisc player batteries, and it doesn't have a USB-C port despite having the contacts on the board and marks on the shell. They saved a couple of pennies and now I've got a an annoying job if I want to source the right one to add 🤦‍♀️
The double battery charger in question, with two sping loaded battery holders. The top of the charger with one micro-usb socket, and a plastic indent next to it in the shape of a USB-C port The circuit board from inside. Next to the micro-usb port are blank solder pads in the correct footprint for a USB-C socket, but one is not installed. The pads are very small, meaning soldering to them by hand would be tricky.

I HATE this cable. I found it on a shelf I'm cleaning, its clearly very proprietary for something specific, but I have no idea what. I can't throw it out in case its important, so now it has to go into the limbo drawer of "cables I might need some day (but won't)" never to be seen again

Today I added a USB-C port to my label printer, because its much easier than 6 batteries or finding its own specific plug thing.

There is black Sharpie marks around the hole I forgot to wipe off, and a couple of flecks of red paint on the side it came with.

Tried colour matching my nails to my minidisc player m not quite, but what do you think? 😄
My hand holding a deep blue sony minidisc player mz-n710, my nails have been painted a very slightly darker shade of blue. The nails are also more glossy, which has affected the colour and texture.

If you make products, please make them repairable. This stupid dashcam kept forgetting the date. I had to tear it down and desolder the clock battery, and carefully tear off the welded terminal to find out the type (ML621). I've ordered another, but this is ridiculous #righttorepair

Just been reading one punch man and Fubiki (Hellish Blizzard) and Captain Mizuki covers are totally (impossible) gender goals. I've really got to quit sugar 😯

Just upgraded these flashy cat ear headphones from a wimpy 150mAh battery to a beefier 1000mAh battery. The battery is now worth more than the rest of the headphones combined 🤣
