There is currently a grown (American) woman going viral because she made a TikTok about how she only just learned that there isn’t “medicine in glasses”, as in, MEDICINE IN EYE GLASSES. She thought that’s how people with glasses could see.

Thanks! I’m sure I’ll be fine. It’s to resolve the issue that turned me suddenly jaundiced and unexpectedly on hospital in June. I’m looking forward to it all being over!

Thanks! It turns out it’s for something that has been causing me pain for over 10 GODDAMN YEARS but my GP never took me seriously. (I have now switched GPs)
