I'm a healthcare advocate watching the ,"Big Ugly Bill' pass with cuts to Medicaid was tough.
Finding out my cancer had returned, was almost too much.
A visit from friends who are also fighting for healthcare and our democracy, gave me such hope.

Stop pretending. The so-called ICE agents creeping around LA aren’t chasing violent criminals.
If you don’t see the racial profiling, you’re either in denial or fine with it. And since they’re incognito, no one can give a straight answer on how we’re supposed to know they’re even legit.
