I’m in the UK 🇬🇧 we had some sex education and condoms here in the 70s .
There were obviously different reasons why birth rates fell in the last century, better access to birth control being the biggest factor. This century birth rates have fallen dramatically for different reasons #iPhoneObsession.

The primary reason for falling birth rates around the world is people coupling later than we used to. There were no dating apps in the olden days …. teenagers/20 somethings went out and met potential partners in the real world (and had mostly acquired the social skills needed to fall in love).

My analogy is playing a football match in very windy conditions, the first half with the wind behind (increasing population) growth is relatively easy, lots of new contributors/workers/customers/innovators.
The second half (falling population) with an ageing society…. growth is almost impossible.
