I woke up this morning and found out I broke the OBH State Outdoor Hunter Round record! 🎯🎉🥇

A few weeks ago, the team I help coach won the inaugural Oregon High School Archery League’s State 3D Championship. I’m super proud of these champions! They practiced hard all season and stuck through a long day of shooting in the woods. Super stoked for their win! #archery #3D #champions #win

On Saturday, I defended my uncontested title at the Oregon State USAA tournament. It was very cross-windy! It was wild to see my arrows fly sideways. I was happy to have ends where all my arrows scored. I was also happy to have a new bale-buddy who was only months into shooting an Olympic Recurve!

I shot at little green toy soldiers today. I maimed one of them and was gifted its leg. 😂Surprisingly, the maimed soldier remained in battle until I got it in the next end. The already zombie-half-soldier survived to live another day. #archery #3D #fun #toysoldiers #battle #greenarmymen #hotshot

I was a teenager competing in the Aloha State Games. I remember how excited I was to wake up early and head to the field for weekend competitions and how much fun the second day 3D shoots were. I still have my bow I used back then and I still use the same finger sling!

I placed 1st in the NFAA Northwest Sectionals and 2nd at our Oregon Bow Hunters Indoor State shoot. I’ve improved by about 20 points since last year and had a few perfect ends. I also had fun sharing a bale with my competimates at state! #progressionoverperfection #archery #olympicrecurve

Last week I shot my best round at our indoor 3D league. The time before that, our crew had our first perfect end together. It was my first perfect end ever. I’m looking forward to the outdoor season starting soon.

Yesterday, I received my belt buckle for the Triple Crown I won last year that combines Oregon state indoor, outdoor, and 3D tournament results. It’s my first belt buckle and it’s huge! In the process, I also broke the state field record. It was my first time shooting field. #archery #champion
