Used up an old box of Chicken Helper crispy parm chicken I found while going through a shelf in the pantry. Used the Breville Fast Slow Pro at somewhere between a sear and sauté for the chicken, lowering but not sealing the lid. Chicken stayed crazy juicy.

I won a flat of small books at yesterday’s North Star Auction. Part of that lot was eight Little Leather Library selections - four by Rudyard Kipling*, and one each by Henrik Ibsen, Oscar Wilde, Charles Dickens, and Edgar Allen Poe. Dexy and Washington for scale. #books #antiques #vintage #reading

I won several little boxes of paper things at today’s North Star Auction, which was groovy, then went to Central Dakota Humane Society for a fresh batch of photos. Then the antique shop, and wrapped up the day by finding this gem at a thrift store before heading home. A good day.

I was outbid on this neat walnut thimble holder thingy at the auction earlier today. I reckoned someone else wanted it too because it was later covered up by other stuff in the box it was in before it all went up for bid. Neat tho.
