Last night I ordered a top and a cardigan I have been eying for a while and Kohl's offered me a $5 coupon to pick them up in store instead of having them shipped, and I really thought about it, but ultimately you could not pay me to go inside a department store at this time of year.

I've had doctors pitch weight loss to me for all sorts of reasons but not one has brought up that smaller sweaters take fewer stitches and less yarn, and as I run the risk of not finishing my sleeve before the end of the semester, that is a very compelling case.

My personal belief is that the reason the kids are into Fleetwood Mac right now is they took that one tweet from the Try Guys drama about how kids these days would never survive an entire Fleetwood Mac as a challenge.

Given the 8 hours it takes to get my hair dry after wet styling and the need to restyle by day 3, I am starting to think that I maybe need to just commit to the wet hair look and add pomade.

Your yearly reminder that “holiday” celebrations that only include Christian traditions are not, in fact, inclusive even if you don’t use the word Christmas, so tbh I’d rather you just say it’s Christmas.
Until a few years ago, ugly holiday sweaters didn’t exist. They’re ugly Christmas sweaters, with some generic Jewish iconography to be “inclusive.” But the truth is, when I have to buy one to wear to a work party, I feel like I’m in another culture’s drag.
