It's just bad street design, adding curb extensions create safer shorter crossings for people, protect the cars parked, and would contribute towards public space feel like a space the public would like to be, having the space and benches for people to comfortably loiter without being in others way.

Presented my group thesis, as the sole architect in the multidisciplinary group of 18 ppl, I still had a lot of fun coming up with new structures to make out of scaffolding.
I'm so close to graduating omgg, one more week and a final presentation shark tank style!
