People barely have friends anymore. They have followers. Every thought they have, while maybe a hot take or something genuine, is still heavily curated in a way to get them as many likes as possible. Their online personas don’t match the in person reality. And they wonder why they feel isolated.

Some people have added it on to their locktober challenge as well. Not everything is black at white. >.>

Also gib hugs. They is a sweet bean and they deserve them.

I made sure to remind him that he lived on a pretty unpopulated street and it wouldn’t be too difficult to find him if I cared enough lol. An empty threat, but a nice reorientation to reality.
