Oooh I’ve seen that before! I don’t think they’re sporophylls- maybe for some reason the blades can have a bumpy texture in the same way that the pneumatocysts and rachis do? And the more rounded, smaller bladelets might just be younger ones. But who knows! Egregia’s so wonderfully weird…
