Before I realized I have ADHD i just thought it was normal get absolutely nothing done the entire day for no good reason and then complete 90% of my tasks from 4:46 pm to 4:55 pm.

I don't always have time to fold laundry, but when I do, I mindlessly scroll on my phone for hours constantly thinking about folding laundry.

ADHD Tip: If there’s a task you’re unable to start because it has to be perfect, like writing an essay, tell yourself to do a practice/rough draft version. It’ll help with task initiation and will feel less stressful because you did it once already or you just have to edit the practice one.

I tend to use overly complicated words for simple sentences. Even when I got hired for a job, the interviewer said "you use big words for no reason in your interview, it was wild!" I replied "i'll be more conscientious about that.."

ADHD Tip: If you want to start a new habit, pair it with a daily task that you would never forget. Brush your teeth right before you feed your dog. Bonus: your dog will bug you to feed them so it’ll be a good reminder.
