The only consolation is that this squad is so much better than we’re seeing. It’s not like years gone by where the majority of the team weren’t up to it, this (on paper) is a side that should compete on all fronts

Certainly not all on him and I hate to say it but Slot is likely in big trouble here. Such a drop off from winning the title!

What a mental window, can’t recall one like it in my lifetime and the calibre of players signed makes for a potentially very exciting season. There’s still needs within the squad but have to enjoy moments like these
