Our local (newly elected) Labor MP casually mentions that she gets greater access to Ministers to influence decisions for constituents, compared to non-Labor members.

I’m not naive, but this is why the rigid party system is so dirty.

I’m sorry, why would they have been *killed* (not ‘died’) in Israeli prisons?

Bet you $10 when Trump gets back to the Laughing Stock of America he’s going to invent some medals he gets to win.

Sorry #TheGuardian, unless Maxwell is under any legal jeopardy this is not news. Of course she "saw nothing". That was literally her job.

So why aren't there any planes on the tarmac at Heathrow airport on Google Maps?

I didn't make this, and I can't remember who did. But hat tip to you.
(Please claim it, if you made it.)

Must be a Friday.

It's becoming like Trump-watch with Dutton. Just when you think he's reached his nadir, he sinks to even more disgusting behaviour.

The day this man is removed from public life can't come soon enough.

No deal with the Greens. It seems like the same old game. But this time I’m not sure. There’s a good chance that ALP will do a deal with the Libs to form a pro-market, pro gas government by peeling off the Nats.

“$150 energy bill rebates not ‘election bribe’, Chalmers says.”

I should hope not, as it would need to be 86 times larger to make up for the extra rent we had to pay in the last year.

Great to see @nikisavvasjumper.bsky.social backing up on the keyboards for New Order at the Brisbane gig the other night. Cracking show.
