For those of you following along at home. One lesson per day hasn’t gotten me as far along as one might think, but that’s not the point for me. For me, this daily practice is an opportunity for me to focus and be present with something. I treat it like a meditation.

My life was forever changed in the best possible way 8 years ago today when I saw this girl, and with absolutely no plans on getting a dog, I took one look at her and said, “That’s my dog.” Happy 8th Gotcha Day/de facto 10th Birthday to my Maya Whitney– my daughter, my love.

WE WERE AT THE WHEELING RALLY! We were on the stage behind Bernie! As of right now, two union electricians in the northern panhandle are running for Delegate in the midterms. We CAN elect men & women who are for the working class! And don’t forget, Bernie took every county in WV in the 2016 primary!

I don’t have a system of belief, but during what was a very stressful afternoon, I decided to go get the mail and take some deep breaths, and on my way back in I saw my very first Snowberry Clearwing, aka, the hummingbird moth. I am very grateful for seeing it in a moment when I really needed to.
