In much brighter news (ironic considering), NIИ tickets have been acquired for the August show in Baltimore. I got a pair of solid mid-high tier seats as this will probably be the last time Trent will tour, but also... I'm old and want to sit.

I live in a blue state with Democratic senators and congressional reps. I'm confident they'd resist the current administration's agenda if they had the numbers. If you live in a red district or state, please visit congress.gov/members to find and contact your lawmakers.

The whole point of this is to settle scores, to be cruel, to flood the "enemy" with anxiety and fear. The fact that enough Americans have never grasped the evil in this man is one of the greatest failures in our history and I am not sure how it's going to be fixed.

I wanted to see The Brutalist in the theater as all the reviews say it's a gorgeous film, but then I saw its runtime. With trailers, that's at least 4 hours without an intermission. Either shorten films or give us a bathroom break, FFS.
