Would you say the DWJ run stands alone? Do the main arcs conclude, such as that if I were to read it, I could put it down after that last volume? I've heard such good things but I'm not interested in another open-ended commitment.

This rivals “Anne Frank had white privilege.” We really are reaching critical mass.

Oh, I read this. What got me is these people saying that the Orthodox can trace their faith back to the original church. My eyeballs roll so far back in my head I could see my brain.

ALL CHURCHES can trace their histories back to Jesus, Guys! But also, ALL OF THEM have changed over 2 millennia!

Yeah, this is one of my favorite Spidey stories ever. I got Zdarsky to sign a copy in Chicago.

“It’s a good dream,” made me mist up, NGL.

Awesome. Whenever you get round to it, I’d be happy to learn what you think.

You’ve reminded me with this comment of Josh Lawson’s jaw-dropping Australian comedy THE LITTLE DEATH (2014), which I now must see again to learn if it’s as great as I remember. My thanks.

Yeah, the Taylor/Redondo tale is excellent. Of the others, only Morrison/Mora's lead qualifies as a full story to me (beginning+middle+end w/ a plot that makes sense), and to my surprise, I think the Wells/Capullo team did a better job, even if it was perhaps less clever.

Oh, well.

Is that the TMNT figure? I had that!

Having just read DIE: LOADED 1 (and enjoyed it), I recommend you check out the original first rather than try to jump in directly with this new installment. The new series builds on what came before.

THE POWER FANTASY 13 (my favorite book on the market) and the sequel to DIE, both by Kieron Gillen, who really seems unable to do any wrong.
