I've recently edited a wonderful pattern for Christmas stockings, and there's an open call for test knitters right now. ☺️ The due date is 2025-12-02, but it's a flexible deadline. See more info on Yarnpond: www.yarnpond.com/pattern_test...

I'm making some headway with one of my knitting projects: the sampler pattern from "Knitting Ganseys" by Beth Brown-Reinsel. I'm reading the book for my tech editing certification course at TKGA, and I'm also learning a lot about sweater construction and DPNs. So all in all, it's great fun. ☺️

Well, I guess that's it. Let me show you the heinous and abhorrent comment for which my account was first suspended, then disabled. I got Meta Verified (ugh, I know) to reach support, and while they seemed helpful people, and I'm sure it wasn't up to them, ultimately it wasn't worth the cost.

So apparently, anytime I post a comment in the Tech Editor Hub's Facebook group, Meta just decides to suspend my account. Who knew knitting was such a controversial thing 😂

I finally submitted my Lesson One materials for the TKGA Tech Editing Certification Course. 🥳 I spent much more time on them than I wanted to; I could have been more productive, but sometimes things just take time, I guess. ☺️

The Daughters' War (the one on the right) by @buehlmeister.bsky.social got published a few days ago in Hungarian, and I'm immensely proud of it as its translator. So dark, and so heart-wrenchingly beautiful. 🖤

Okay, Amazon, I promise I won't use my new 2000-page dictionary there. 🫠

I have a new little Ficus Shivereana, but the poor thing is struggling. 😔 I don't know if it's overwatering or the environment - gardeners of Bluesky, what do you think? I've written more about this on Reddit: www.reddit.com/r/houseplant... Any help is appreciated! 🌱🍂 #GardeningFeed #Houseplant

Happy Halloween, I guess. 🧹🎃🐈⚰️
I created this in Blender, and it took me about a week to put it together. I've followed some of Grant Abbitt's tutorials, but Ryan King's procedural stone video was a great help as well. 😊

I'm having a productive weekend: between playing Spider-Man 2, I've been practicing Blender with some online tutorials by Grant Abbitt. Not too shabby, if I might say so.

Hi everyone! I'm Adam, a literary translator/editor. You might know me as the Hungarian translator of the Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson, but I've also worked on books by Jenn Lyons, Scott Lynch, and Christopher Buehlman among many others. 😊 I also love knitting, TTRPGs, and drawing maps. 😎
