Tonight is going to be beautiful & painful & emotional & devastatingly special. Closing night.
Anyone who's done theater or sports knows about the alchemy that occurs when a cast or a team connects just right. It's been an incredible experience and I'll write more about the journey once it's over.

I think the challenge many of us feel with social media of the twatter/bluesky model (where you're not necessarily interacting with people from "real life") is the chronic feeling of shouting into the abyss. Connection for some, isolating for others.

I've been living with LADA (also referred to as late onset juvenile diabetes, or type one and a half) for fourteen years. It's been a huge adjustment to say the least.

Also, I'm playing Don Quixote in a community theater production of Man of La Mancha. And I'm having a blast.
