We do Thanksgiving brisket in the slow cooker - (a) we love brisket, (b) it frees up the oven for other things, and (c) it’s super hard to screw up. But also, sign me up for the “turkey sucks” take.

Cyndi (as anticipated) understood the assignment. Great set, great speech. She now holds the distinction of being the only Rock Hall inductee that I’ve personally seen perform at the Center City FYE store.

Coming back to this thread to note we watched Bad Shabbos for a second time this weekend, with friends who hadn’t seen it yet — held up great for us, big hit with the newcomers. And Method Man still rules.

Have we ever discussed that I was at the Vet for the KG ejection game? Which meant I got to be there for the MLB debut of that Todd Frohwirth.

For real though: the last time we signed a FA SP who relied heavily on a splitter (Taijuan), returns were shall we say poor. And talk is that Shota lost the feel for his in the second half last year. Could he get it back? Sure. Do I want to invest in a three-year deal to find out? Ehhhh….
