I am very lucky to have been able to do art full time starting 1 year ago.
But even so, I’m making roughly minimum wage running my own business designing and shipping everything myself.
Art is very very rarely a lucrative job. I’m so grateful to everyone who supports me! Be kind to artists!! 🙇♀️💕

Artists who use Ai are scabs. It’s crossing the picket line. If you have any respect for your peers, you’re not gonna steal from them.
Do the work. Study styles. Learn from folks around you. I promise it’s far more rewarding than a bullshit shortcut. And you’ll make far better art in long term.

Respectfully. If I see any generative AI in a videogame even if it's just one asset, well acclaimed or just getting kickstarted, then unfortunately no, they're not getting my time or my money.
