Yes, but that would have been for movies released in ‘87 and for lead actor (I think if Rickman had a shot it would have been as a supporting role, Kevin Kline won that in 1989).

Gotcha. It’s hugely frustrating and disappointing that Selig gets the credit for revitalizing and stabilizing baseball when the most important thing he did to that end was looking the other way on steroids while the players get demonized.

He is right, but it’s pointless for him to say it. Selig (and the self-serving writers) looked the other way throughout the steroid era for sure, but A-Rod kept on using even after they started enforcing the rules. He has a place all his own in PED purgatory.

Why not just say “I’m broken” and leave it at that?
