Oh mine is usually tarnished but I polished it for the pictures haha. If you want that clean shiny look, I recommend a jewelry polishing cloth. Sometimes I use bar keeper’s friend but that gets more aggressive and damaging so I don’t use it often

I love Emeraude De Chivor in my Retro 51! It’s by far the ink I use the most for that pen. No issues clogging in my experience
