You cant create a Constitution that guarantees that because money comes and goes and it cost money. That would create socialism and wont work in the end because individuals lose their rights over the collective.

We were both half-wrong. Looked it up. Without the EC + national popular vote, the president would be chosen by direct majoritarian election (the people vote directly for the candidate, not through electors).

If there was no EC it would be direct democracy when voting for the president because there would be no representatives making the decisions on our behalf. I changed my view on this after considering everything. We could reform it and divide EC votes evenly in each state instead of winner take all.

I wish it was that simple but its a 4th industrial revolution no one can stop. Corporations have unlimited power. Not only is the cat out of the bag it already had a billion kittens. By 2030 at least 50% of the jobs will be gone to AI.

Also keeps the sun off of it making it better for the summer if you have the duel AC/Heat system.

I hear you, data theft and energy waste are real sins. I still use it because right now it’s the sharpest tool I’ve found for my ministry and research, but I get why you won’t touch any of it. I respect the boycott though.

Understandable. Its new and its world changing, lot to process. I have had great success with Grok. I just put on the head set and talk away. I know it will be used for bad so only way to combat that imo is utilize for good.

I think we can create a state system where EC votes are divided among voters rather than winner take all getting around the EC Amendment altogether. I spoke to a professor friend of mine and he is proposing this. Everyone gets a certain amount of EC votes based on the % of voters.

It depends on your needs and where you live. For a lot of people these are great but in some cases they don't meet the efficiency and consistency people need. I had to put a lean too over 2 units for a lady because they have issues with ice in the winter but that because we get ice storms.

People dont really grasp the rate in with AI and robotic is progressing. Consensus states Im over projecting but Im actually under projecting when you do the math. Grok is doubling every 4-6 months in effective intelligence, while cost per token drops 10x per year. This is going to get serious.

Wont stop anything. 70% of all jobs will be gone when this is completed. Why there will be a UBI and imo mass depopulation.

No they are simply superior. They are more energy efficient but boilers provide more consistent heat and less break down. Plus in extreme cold boilers becomes the superior one.

I spend a lot of time on this last night and I've really looked into it ran the numbers compared it to the way the system was when it was created and taking your points into consideration and you guys do have a very valid points, this isn't the same system founders intended anymore.

I really spent a lot of time on this last night, running the numbers taking your points into consideration and we definitely don't have a balanced system under the EC anymore. The population Gap the swing state issues along with other laws is not working like it was intended to.

I spent hours last night really doing deep dives into this and taking all your points into consideration and I think you guys really do have valid concerns. We don't live under the same system that the founders created, it's very different now and not what they intended.

I spent a bunch of time digging into the original EC design vs today. The bound electors, winner take all, 68× pop gaps. You’re starting to convince me. The rural-state boost is way bigger than the Founders planned. It's being weaponized I can see that. Media, campaign finance etc also problems.

We will never stop using fossil fuels. Yes a lot of the world is moving to renewables and expected to double by 2030 but we will never stop using it. Its not possible with AI data centres that will more that double the energy demand of the entire country by 2030.
