I just want to talk to the writers of the current season of “USA” the show. Planes falling out of the sky/landing upside down, oligarchs robbing the poor, RFK jr in charge of anything… Where are we going with this? Pick one conflict and resolve it in 59 mins or less. Please! 😫

Why do we call dictator types “strongmen”? They’re the most insecure weak-minded titty babies I’ve ever seen. Banning AP from attending Oval Office events if they don’t comply with your ridiculous renaming of the Gulf of Mexico is exactly what a mollusk in a suit would do
"Today we were informed by the White House that if AP did not align its editorial standards with President Donald Trump’s executive order renaming the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America, AP would be barred from accessing an event in the Oval Office." www.ap.org/the-definiti...

Really weird to be living in both extremely unprecedented and extremely precedented times, simultaneously.

The older I get, the more I love “late bloomers”. People who published their first book, short story, song, film, etc. in their 40s, and beyond. Chasing our dreams isn’t only for the young; it’s for the living

Uhhh did anyone see that ASAP Rocky “Tailor Swif” music video?? Just watched it, then rewatched in slow motion, and now I’m not sure I didn’t take drugs this morning…

Wait! Janelle Monáe wrote a book of short stories (I’m assuming) as part of the Dirty Computer project?? As if I couldn’t love this woman’s creativity any more than I already do! Let me go get a copy 😌

This makes me think of an interview Solange did either last year or the year before. She was talking about how digital archives are not enough to mark our presence and history because they can be so easily erased. We should see the physical materials & records of our daily lives sacred artifacts
See below.
Also I was talking specifically to Black people for the preservation of Black archives, items, and stories
And it's needed OUTSIDE of institutions, which I know means resources, and isn't turnkey, but it's crucial.

Mmhm, wake it up! The Portuguese were pioneers of trans-Atlantic slavery. They helped invent racism to justify it, too. Idk how their image got laundered over time, but never forget. They’re also colonizers. Parts of my country still have Portuguese names, architecture, and it’s in our patois too

lmao no, TikTok users are not moving to Bluesky. They would literally rather learn Mandarin than learn how to read a feed of text posts. This is a millennial retirement home.

Not Brazil telling Bolsonaro: “No you can’t go play with the Trump boy down the street. He’s a bad influence” 😅

Mesiodens! Those cute little rebellious teeth. I like the ones that grow like a smol canine in the gap between two incisors 🥹

Human resilience is unmatched. But the truth is the aftermath of this is going to extend into generations that are not yet here. Just the logistical aspect of clearing the rubble is overwhelming to think about. Gratitude to the journalists telling these stories #freepalestine
