Why do we call dictator types “strongmen”? They’re the most insecure weak-minded titty babies I’ve ever seen. Banning AP from attending Oval Office events if they don’t comply with your ridiculous renaming of the Gulf of Mexico is exactly what a mollusk in a suit would do

Wait! Janelle Monáe wrote a book of short stories (I’m assuming) as part of the Dirty Computer project?? As if I couldn’t love this woman’s creativity any more than I already do! Let me go get a copy 😌

This makes me think of an interview Solange did either last year or the year before. She was talking about how digital archives are not enough to mark our presence and history because they can be so easily erased. We should see the physical materials & records of our daily lives sacred artifacts

Mmhm, wake it up! The Portuguese were pioneers of trans-Atlantic slavery. They helped invent racism to justify it, too. Idk how their image got laundered over time, but never forget. They’re also colonizers. Parts of my country still have Portuguese names, architecture, and it’s in our patois too
