Language is funny. I can look at a regular container of almond milk and think “oh, ok, stuff made of pressed almonds,” but I see this and immediately need to know where the cashews’ little nipples are.

It’s pretty unusual to get any kind of treats from families on my floor, doubly so if you are someone like me who swoops in periodically and isn’t continually at bedside. This lil valentine’s cake from my patient’s family today feels like hitting the almost my birthday lottery.
