I am not at all optimistic about where we are at this moment but I do not yet think the United States of America is down bad enough for an Elizabeth Holmes Redemption Arc to be be feasible. It's obviously not great, but she's one of the very last Slimers out of the Ghostbusters containment tank.

It's not in this article but the government asserts that the sandwich was thrown at "point blank range", which implies subway sandwiches have defined effective weapon ranges of varying lethality, and I would like to see the government's chart of these ranges.

We need to build some real social stigma around being afraid of cities. You don't have to like them or live there, but a politics built this strongly around watching TV and going "ewww" is embarrassing, and people should be embarrassed by it. It's like "fear of werewolves" being your top issue.
