If Senate Democrats like @kirstengillibrand.bsky.social @gallego.senate.gov and @schiff.senate.gov are still collaborating with Republicans to give Trump a crypto gift after this - they all deserve to be primaried.

Schumer stopped the Senate to announce that this happened, in the middle of debate on a bill where Democrats were collaborating with Republicans on crypto legislation.

I think journalists, policymakers and good govt types are struggling to understand DOGE because their mental model is that it is a government reform commission, operating like previous ones. Maybe. But it might be better to start thinking about it as a hostile takeover of the govt by oligarchs.
