I’ve been so bad about updating here lately!! 🙈🙈🙈

Well, we’ve been trying to decide, for months at this point, if we were emigrating or homesteading… we finally decided on homesteading. Spent the weekend working prep, making raised beds, buying chickens and getting ready for goats!

Sometimes we use AI to jokingly gaslight our children into believing our jokes. Hopefully this will be the extent of their future therapy: “Mom and Dad always told me that Oklahoma Jake was way better than Texas Pete, but we couldn’t get it in the stores in Florida.” 😂🙈 #parenting is fun

A birthday in Oz! Second oldest daughter turned twelve over the weekend, not sure how that happened so fast! 🥹🥹🥹

Poor li’l Beans must have cut over his eye the other day 🥺 It’s weird to still see them around the farm, but not be able to intervene or help or whatever — My first go round with this release piece is as much of a learning process as any of the rest of this has been. #apprentice #rehabber

I released the last of the rehabbed orphaned squirrels yesterday! And my favorite, little Pip, surprised me by jumping on me one last time before he left 🥹 Good luck, little friends! (Remember to always take injured or orphaned wildlife to licensed rehabbers, friends!)
