oh yeah I finished a small painting recently. "Best Wishes!" Oct. 2025. Acrylic on trash-scavenged, pre-painted canvas board.

I liked the way whoever did this practice canvas depicted the very Midwestern-feeling roadside foliage so I didn't paint over it. I like the way our styles interact.
Two pulpy, bulbous-headed blue figures sit in chairs across from one another, their heads connected by a vascular tube the same color and composition as their featureless heads. One is dressed in a traditional-looking modest full-coverage American Colonial style dress. This figure pulls tight against the tube that connects it to the other figure and brandishes scissors around the held part of the tube. The other figure, dressed in boots and jeans an a white tank top, desperately tries to scoot its chair away from the other figure, tugging on the tube as it leans backwards. Behind them, gently lighting them with a pinkish neon glow, is a black crossroads surrounded by neon pink backlighting. Behind that, even further, is a rough impressionistic painting of a roadside lined with autumn trees.
