The same is absolutely true for Fulbrighters coming into the US. I would not be who and where I am today without my stay, on a Fulbright graduate scholarship, at UCLA in 1996/97.
As a former Fulbrighter this is so deeply sad. The program changer my life. It brought a kid from Ohio into the world. It forged lasting friendships. It should not be destroyed.
Just got an email from the Fulbright Association. As of right now, funding has been cut off to 12,500 US citizens currently abroad and and more than 7,400 foreigner scholars and students in the United States
