Economic blackout day has arrived and I feel strangely moved and curious - 1) to do something, anything, that has an impact, and 2) to see what kind of an impact this will actually have when the numbers are crunched.

We had friends over the night of the Super Bowl so I missed it, but I’m catching up on the halftime show now - genius. Loved it! Will be watching reactions and breakdowns for a while I’m sure.

I just heard about the barring of the AP from the Oval Office because they did not call it the “Gulf of America” and beyond that being stupid and dangerous, I really feel that we are going to get ourselves attacked imminently by (maybe several) other countries.

Among other reasons, censorship is bad because a lot of these terms are used multiple ways. “Confirmation bias” is the most common logical fallacy, for example - I’d like the folks at NSA to be particularly attuned to it.

So I had a dream last night that I was speaking with Elon Musk. It was a little contrived but in the dream I met him at a function and was able to ask him some honest questions. I don’t know if this is interesting or helpful to anybody, but - here you go.

Watching “well meaning” “Christian” friends of friends come into peoples’ comments and gently ask what the big deal is and why we’re feeling so upset rn is a study in slowly losing my mind. Sometimes I fight or correct them, some days I just leave it because I’m too tired.
