Something that has stuck with me for years now is that Ed Brubaker has made more in residuals for the 5 second cameo he had in Captain America: The Winter Soldier than he ever did at Marvel literally creating the comics it’s based on.

I’ve never liked the “over-encumbered” system. It’s just not fun at all. And I don’t like when people make the argument that it’s more realistic.

Class of 2022 here. I don’t know what is the most infuriating thing abt this article but this one stings me the most. You try so hard to get recognised in the industry which you kinda do and then it suddenly ceases to exist. What’s the point in the end? 🫠

The thing about Mamdani is that he’s a talented politician but not otherworldly or one in a billion, he’s just a competent guy with popular ideas who ran against an entitled piece of shit and to me it’s a lot more optimistic to imagine 1000 campaigns like his than to view him as a unique phenomenon
