'Limits of Glory' remains fascinating. Nappy has Cairo, the Savants have made it to the Valley of Kings, Klieber has taken Acre but Captain Pasha's landing force has cut him off. Looking pretty good for France overall right? But....

Finally got a chance to try 2 de Mayo. What an interesting little thing; clever "write movement orders and then all moves resolve simultaneously" thing. Took an hour first go, can see it hitting ~30 w/ experience. Two sides feel very different; my friend eked out a win on the last turn!

My KS of "background paintings for mini photos" from Jon Hodgson showed up and even just using window lighting with some random stuff sitting on my hobby table & no thought to framing and focus these feel kind of great.

Took the kiddo to her first Disney on Ice show and from a production standpoint that is a *well-oiled* hour forty five.

"Each horse gains a cool wizard hat. Hat should be modeled and placed on the horse's head *NOT ATTACHED*. If when moving the horse the hat falls off the horse is no longer a wizard and cannot cast spells" Is my new favorite wargame rule of all time.
