it took a while, but now I have completed my "NeoPower" daisy-chainable DC motor driver (WS8211 + DRV8251)

Some years ago I built the same with an I2C controlled PWM chip and a different type of H-bridge, but the basic principle is the same.

I have designed a variant of this circuit that can be soldered directly to the back of a DC motor. With this board, you can simply daisy-chain all the motors on your roboter and control them with one single wire. Different motor types are supported.

Vintage PC slot card (ISA 8 bit) with VGA output and full 256 kBytes video RAM. Didn't need a heatsink back then. I have no documentation what the DIP switches were used for, probably the image frequency or so.

There is still some logic in the malfunction. It looks like the 7 segment digits are split ... some segments are displayed where the digit should be and some are displayed on the leftmost digit. Inside the calculator you find only two DIL chips with 14 + 18 pins.

I built a "hard" keyboard for my Spectrum about 40 years ago. Main keys were from a TI-99/4A, number key block was from an old SHARP desktop calculator and some extra function keys ... I can't recall where I got them from.

Until today I don't use the autorouter even if it's available. I use 45° corners wherever possible and sometimes even arcs around drill holes just for beauty reasons.

I experienced a similar effect when taking photos of an LCD with an exposed chip-on-glass display controller chip. Each time when I made a photo with flash, the display contents would flip upside down. The flipping went fast enough that I always had the reversed display contents on my photo.
