This is a general hypothesis I have about fandom but I'm using one piece ships cuz that's the fandom I'm in:

I logically knew that a perk of long term fandom was that no matter what happened my fanfics would still exist. And now I am slowly feeling those emotions of pride for something a previous version of me made and it feels quite nice.

Tapping the sign... if you're adding alt text to your comics then firstly, MWWAAHHHH (that's the big kiss I'm putting on your forehead). Second, you need to make sure you're transcribing the dialogue and narration, too, not just the drawings. Not paraphrased - the same dialogue sighted readers get.
If you're already using alt text for your images then I'm very grateful, and it's a lot better than nothing. But most screen readers don't pick up text in an image; you should ideally be transcribing the same same text into the alt text, rather than paraphrasing or summarising it
