I made friends with this bird on the LIRR long enough to catch it and release it at the next station. This is one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me.

I went to the Diane Arbus show at the Park Avenue Armory yesterday, 454 photographs all titled in this format. I am going to post some of my favorites in the 🧵 below. Any one of these would make an excellent short story title.

I've had wonderful launch events in New York City and on Long Island, and next month I'll be bringing the book to its spiritual home in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
