a) There's nothing wrong with Social Security.
b) Current retirees are supported by current FICA contributors.
c) Social Security has a $2.7 Trillion current surplus "cushion," which is invested in Treasury Bonds and earning $100 Billion/year.
d) Social Security is NOT part of the national budget.
