Most people drive, and most people (in a household) own a car. Your preferences are yours, but I cant think of many that would prefer to take their children out in rain and snow by choice.

Care to support that with facts? and it isn't the number of people but the number of HOUSEHOLDS. Yes, the stats that use the number of people is specifically obsfucating the facts. and the town is built for cars because all that food and product you have is delivered by... cars/trucks.

try cycling into town with a family of small children or doing shopping on a bike. I dont mind bike lanes or cyclists, but the idea that a bike is a complete substitute for a car is ridiculous.

the filibuster has always been stupid and undemocratic. other countries dont have that foolishness. The party that wins the election should be able to actually govern. without it, SCOTUS would not be a conservative majority, DC would be a state and Trump would be impeached, indicted, and in jail.

you seem to forget that boomers are ABDL as well. ABDL is not generationally-defined. It starts in all of us mainly as preschoolers. Then we get older.

It would ironically be very good for the GOp in the longer-term. They would have to actually come up with policies that serve the people. it would probably take 30 years because a lot would have to literally die off before the GOP became a proper pro-democracy party.
