I've been working with Juliana Hatfield and American Laundromat on her reissues for a while. But I'm most proud of this one. With photography this strong, it's nice to take a minimalistic approach to the design and let the photos do the heavy lifting.

In 1968, one year after Sir Beef opened, KFC opted to launch Kentucky Beef with remarkably similar branding. 👀

"The first Sir Beef restaurant was opened in Rockford, IL in December of 1967. At the time, it seemed everyone was riding the roast beef sandwich craze, and Farmer's Daughters Enterprises of Evansville, IN hoped to franchise the new restaurants throughout the country."
