No, labels that are not applied by the official Bluesky moderation system are not actually part of your post, but of the labelers, and the only way they appear is if the person reading your post is also subscribed to the labelers in question (figured this out setting up my own labeler...)

Once informed of a person's pronoun preference, it is not okay to continue using the other pronouns. That's a conscious choice to disregard. It sounds like the person did "deal with it" by reporting you for labeling.

As someone in IT, this doesn't surprise me, but I would expect a critical service to be phased out, not ripped out. There should have been a period of parallel run until everyone was familiar with the new tool. Basic project change management...

While you may be gramatically correct for literature, when conversing with someone you should use the pronoun that person requests. If you are told the preference but ignore it, that is where the transphobic comes into play. An insistence on ignoring the preference is the issue.

Money always wins. If Musk can't be lauded he'll likely just withdraw from public engagement and buy more politicians and strawmen to keep his agenda going. MAGA would claim victory and not understand why they get sidelined.

I'd also recommend labelers like bsky.app/profile/prof... and auto-hide trolls and such. This one actually tracks new accounts, reply-only accounts, and bot-like behavior

At first, I was like wow, I actually agree with Preston, until he used "autistic" as a slur...there's plenty of things to criticize Musk on without demeaning the autistic community too, sheez

This is why I love the BlueSky community labelers, so I can just hide such nonsense by default :) (unhid this one bc I was curious who was gettin' a paddlin')

Labels are a way to categorize content and users on BlueSky. They are part of the moderation tools but they can be do lots of interesting things like foster community.

You're spot on. His complaint is he didn't have anyone to "pushback" on him...lol. I ain't here to "debate" human dignity. Trolls get blocked and the feed stays pleasant :)
