Totally reasonable. I think I like Kurtz’s approach at the plate a little better but also Cags seems more like the guy who could explode for a 50 homer season. Fun to finally have some exciting 1B prospects.

What’s your reasoning behind Cags in front of Kurtz?
I think the 2-3 year outlook would be more like Mayer and Arias with Rafaela as a super utility if he’s no longer in center.

Some guys come up right away and rake and others struggle, as we saw three versions of this year between all the Jacksons. I’m not sure the rest of the lineup is strong enough to make up for significant early struggles from either of those guys. I’m interested to see what Breslow decides to do.

Campbell can play all over and hasn’t proven anything in the majors yet. I trust he’ll be good, but to assume it right out of the gate creates lots of risk. Bregman (even if he’s on a decline) provides above average defense, stability in the middle of the lineup, and a vet presence. Can’t hurt imo.
