I feel like central route persuasion most likely leaves people more satisfied long-term because they have though things through and made informed decisions. To me, it feels more solid and less rushed. #J201 #310

If we aren't fully present online, we're more likely to think things on the basis of emotion or appearance rather than realities. This implies a lot of our thoughts can be shaped by rapid surface-level content, so we quite literally need to engage with what we see more deliberately #J201 #310

I would use social media to target younger audiences like Instagram and TikTok. I would also ensure the message of the company is clear offering transparency. I would highlight charitable initiatives too, aligning the brand with values the target market cares about. #J201 #310

I have noticed that conflict and violence are often the most important aspects in the news. I think because it grabs attention and brings in strong emotional reactions that can involve high stakes. It also can create conflict and drama, which grabs viewers attention. #J201 #310

I think companies could use advanced AI tools to detect and flag deepfakes more accurately without restricting free speech. They should focus on transparency and providing users with clear information so they can balance protection with freedom of expression. #UWJ201 #310

I feel like in Todays world, people who trust the government are less likely to believe conspiracy theories. However, with social media spreading all this misinformation conspiracy theories are only on the rise. #UWJ201 #310

I agree, social media can be extremely polarizing of political views and I feel like its because when a topic gets posted online people are not hesitant to quickly "repost" their own beliefs and thoughts on the topic. #UWJ201 #310

Now everybody finds out news on social media in the matter of seconds. When something happens in the world people are instantly inclined to jump onto social media verses putting the TV on. #UWJ201 #310

Thinking about it I often avoid it because I don't like getting political on social media I rather just talk about it with my family and friends. As much as it may challenge my beliefs its easier for me to not engage in the drama. #UWJ201 #310

My favorite type of digital media is digital billboards because I feel like you can be so creative when designing them and making headlines. I also tend to remember what I see when Im driving if its funny or stands out to me. #J201 #310

I agree. Relying on social media for news exposes one to disinformation and a lack of reliable information, especially during widespread occurrences like the COVID-19 pandemic. #UWJ201 #310

I agree, because social media tends to value entertainment and popular topics over serious news coverage, individuals who use it to gather political information may get less in-depth or accurate information. #UWJ201 #310

I feel like media bias will most likely continue, but it may change over time. Some news sources might improve by being more fair, others could get worse by reinforcing their biases to attract certain audiences. #UWJ201 #310

I think media companies allow biased framing because of political influence which shape perception in subtle yet impactful ways. #J201 #310

I find it interesting when family members offer different POVS, sometimes it starts drama but other times it could start meaningful conversations. #UWJ201 #310

I have seen a lot of pro- Palestine or anti- Palestine posts that gained a lot of traction and drama. I think social media plays a huge aspect in this by the photos and videos that got posted. it also made it spread faster when many of these posts went viral. #UWJ201 #310
