The latest GDP data indicate a recessionary path for the US Economy. The economy contracted by 0.3% in Q1, but it could have been worse if industries had not rushed to make fixed investments in anticipation of tariffs. Personal and government consumption data show that the recession risk is real.

What I like more than teaching Ecological Unequal Exchange Theory is World Ecology. It is so intellectually rich and provides historical perspective in relations of Nature and Society.
