Nearly a year ago I left work after being in work since I was 13 due to poor health and lack of support. I’d spent the last year working towards getting my health in a good place to get into work again.

Given the Switch 2 Edition contains a download code for the upgrade… why would anyone bother buying the boxed Switch 2 Edition when you can get the Switch 1 version and buy the upgrade separately for cheaper…

I will eventually pick up a Switch 2. But as someone that loves collecting games Nintendo’s attitude towards physical out the gate has genuinely killed my hype for this system.
I’ll still enjoy it when I get it but yea not happy about S2 Editions or Game-Key carts 😔

Disappointed and genuinely annoyed. My hype for this console has just plummeted.
Buy the S1 versions preowned if you want the upgrade. Still cheaper than buying the S2 boxed edition 🤦🏻♂️

Seems Nintendo has changed the way revisions are shown on the back of the cart. Got this from Argos and it seems to be a 01 revision with 1.0.2 on cart!
