A reminder that this anti-trans panic is 100% bullshit and exactly none of our country’s problems are related to someone expressing their gender identity and everyone who isn’t a hate-filled weirdo knows it.
That makes it even funnier and sweeter, honestly
At partner's instance I have finally watched Crazy Rich Asians. Super fun, but I still can't believe nothing terrible happened to Bernard.
Or a big one that flips the genre of the thing.

My mum just said to me "You should be hung like a horse". When I challenged her over saying such a thing, it transpires she thought it was a punishment horses got. Turns out she's been incorrectly using the phrase since the 90s in various settings
Hm... If the game is played in ways regular golfers don't like, by people they don't like (women, poors, etc) I assume they'll create rules to force conformity/exclusion.

UNLESS Trolf or Skibidiball or whatever blows up. Big enough trend and establishments will eventually eat eachother to cash in.

BlueSky is automatically hiding posts with cuss words in them.
You may want to adjust your settings:
Wondering why no one likes your posts anymore, even among your friends? It's because @jay.bsky.team and team have decided to hide a huge amount of content from all of our feeds by default.

Here's how to turn it off.

First go to the hamburger menu in the upper left corner
I mean, the unfunny answer is probably that farmers butcher any livestock they don't want to keep feeding over the winter and stock up their meat stores for the coming lean months.

(But in the case of Finland I would also believe something way more metal.)

came across this with no context but you know what, sure okay
in short:

if you're looking for love, get your nuts out by the fire.
On Friday I updated my Slack info at work to spoopy silliness.

I was going to change it back today, but I think it might get funnier the longer I leave it.
Girls dont want Global Issues Discourse. Girls want details about minor physical complaints and low-stakes personal drama.
Someone I worked with kept using the phrase "if wishes were roses."

I knew they meant "if you could have whatever you wanted..." but
didnt get what the metaphor was.

Eventually someone looked it up. Turns out they had misheard the line "if wishes were horses beggars would ride."

Someone in a Teams meeting just said “It’s the old chicken and the egg question isn’t it? Why did they cross the road?” then realised what they’d said and turned their camera off.
I loved the atmosphere in the first one, the music and environmental design is fantastic

Brilliant! I love it. I clearly need to keep an eye out for something more delightful than my current rinkydink ikea number.
I, too, feel the hollow ache of loss. Weary to my core from many weeks of triumphant highs, anguishing failures, and dogged striving.

(Finished my lastest play-through of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild last night.)

Is the use of justified text alignment ever truly justified?

I dont like it. It feels like the reader's flow and rhythm is being interrfered with to please the whims of someone judgeing page layout by the tidiness of the blocks and not how they support the meaning of their contents.
