I think it's pretty foolish to blame the trans community working towards getting rid of medical gatekeeping in our care for our care now being on the line at SCOTUS.
Those former gatekeepers are the ones now pushing these attacks on our care!

the way we're socialized to see violence exclusively as interpersonal—& not see state violence (policies that create poverty/kill), structural violence, institutional violence—is very deliberate. same with panics about "crime"/shoplifting vs how much corporations steal from every single one of us

I've been working my way through a list of lesbian Christmas movies. I'm not thrilled with just how many of them are doom and gloom. It really says something when Hallmark is topping the list of heartwarming Christmas romance with sapphic leads.
