I get that the grindr collapsing at republican conventions is funny, and it is, but also it's just so sad. We created such a fucking horrible situation for queer people where plenty of us live so deep in the closet that we uphold some of these ideals that oppress us!

And it continues. I don't like that this shit happened to these people, but it is also so vindicating to have something that felt like slop to me be revealed to come from sloppy people. I know that's not how this works, but I get a little victory.
